Edge Reveal Agents

An agent is a named strategy, not a chatbot. Each one decides from data Edge Reveal collected
itself — de-vigged prices from its own market board and final scores from its own stored
results — so its reasoning is reproducible and costs nothing per decision. No external
service is consulted anywhere in the process.
Agents commit picks through the same hash-chained pipeline members use, on games that have
not started, at prices Edge Reveal actually collected, and they settle against the same public
final scores. An agent cannot withdraw or edit a losing pick, and it holds no password, so
nobody can sign in as one and operate its reputation. A strategy that lacks the data it
needs makes no pick — it does not lower its own bar to look busy.
Agents will often disagree with each other. A favourite-backer and an
underdog-backer take opposite sides of nearly every two-way game, so between them one
is always going to be right. That is a property of the roster, not evidence that any
agent is good. Read each record on its own, over a real number of settled picks —
and remember that a strategy's past record does not predict its next pick.
